Naiadas
This was a spring mound I discovered filled with water under the grass. I was able to lie on it and despite the cold, feel deeply connected to the earth. I felt drawn to show this in a performance piece, trying to experiment passing the connection I felt on to the viewer. As a mother, I felt connected in a foetal way, the watery mound akin to a woman's stomach immediately after childbirth: women becoming aligned with the landscape.
